In these cold months finding ways to entertain the family can be hard. They have created chaos in the playroom and you have seen every new release appropriate for their age. Baking can be fun but a huge mess. Have you ever placed a chocolate fondue with a variety of snacks on the table? It is guaranteed fun! My son loves when he sees me melting chocolate and is eager to see what foods I will put out each time.
I am currently using the Trudeau Zen Chocolate Fondue Pot
. It is so easy to clean and use. It comes with 4 forks and the tea light to start. essentially what you are doing is making the chocolate on your stove then pouring it into the fondue top and with the tea light lit there is just enough heat underneath to keep the chocolate liquified and warm.
Finding choices to use for dipping is fun and you can’t go wrong when you cover chocolate on any food-for the most part. I’ll use fresh fruit, berries, pretzels, marshmallows, rice krispies treats cut up, crackers and any other products I come across that sound good under chocolate.
Chocolate Fondue Recipe
- 8oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 C condensed milk
Melt over low heat in a saucepan, stirring continuously until all chips have melted. Pour into fondue pot and turn on/light to keep warm.
It’s that easy! This recipe was found with other recipes in my Trudeau Recipe pages that came with my fondue pot. Happy dipping!
